Malaysian people, especially Penang people, believe in all sorts of things. Here, we have customs, and we have culture and one part of our culture has us children (and adults!) believing in things without knowing the exact reason.
Superstition — a belief without any logical explanation. Children hear it from their parents, grandparents, friends and family, but don't actually know the reason behind them!
